SONG OF THE WEEK

Welcome to the newest feature from the good folks at This Song’s For You - the amazing non-profit music production company (the non-profit status is unintentional, by the way).

Our first “SONG OF THE WEEK” is from our first album: IN THE PINK, which was originally released in April of 1996 and then digitally re-mastered and re-released in November of 2007. The song, “Didn’t Make It to School” was recorded with the sound of Pink Floyd very much in mind. Lyrically, the song recalls the school room that was rented in the early days to act as a rehearsal hall and all around party room. Many of the songs that will appear in our“SONG OF THE WEEK” feature had their origins in that school room, and they would evoke many pleasant memories if we could actually remember what went on there.

Players include: Tom Mayers on vocals and keyboards, Ray Fournier (currently playing with Jonesie and the Cruisers) on drums, Phil Bronschidle on guitar (now a member of the Boomer Daddys) and John Swanson on bass.
